Just wanted to say Happy Easter to everyone and share some fun pictures from this weekend.
Here in Lexington we are part of the law families organization at the law school, as some of you know. The wonderful thing about this is that we have the opportunity to get together and enjoy each others company while our kids get to play as well. On Saturday we attended the annual Law Families Easter Egg Hunt. We had a blast, but probably not as much as Jace did.
It all started with the Easter Bunny! Can you believe the Easter Bunny actually made a special trip to Lexington just for our kids? It was awesome! (A little scary, but cool.) Jace of course had to give him a high five and "knuckles".
Following the Easter Bunny was the egg hunt. Each of the kids could get about a dozen eggs, but in the end I think each ended up with more than that. They had so much fun!

One of the great things about the day was that the party was at this great little park near some of our friends' homes. This meant swings and the best part, slides! Jace had a blast and it was great to hang out with everyone.

I was so missing this party the other day! Our easter egg hunt was just not the same! And you guys got an Easter Bunny this year! Lex just keeps getting better and better...
I wish we could have been there. Minnesota just doesn't have the spring loveliness that Lexington has. :)
