Burp Clothes

When we had Jace we actually found these great inexpensive burp clothes that we still had for when Eden came. Well, actually some of them mysteriously disappeared and so we needed some more. Before Eden came I found this totally cute fabric and decided I wanted to make some burp clothes and a matching quilt. Well, I finally finished the burp clothes and now I'm onto the quilt. Here are the finished burp clothes:

I think the pictures make the fabric look a little more orange than they are, but I couldn't fix it without changing the other colors too much.

Anyways...Part of why I am posting this is because I am considering making and selling these on Etsy, but I'm curious what everyone thinks and how much they would pay for something like this. Any imput you have would be great! Keep in mind that in this group are 12 burp clothes and each one cost me about $2.50 to make. Also, I made them with organic diaper backing and could use non-organic for about $2 each. I was considering selling them in 3, 6, and 12 sets and offering a variety of girl, boy and nuetral prints. Let me know what you guys think, I would love to know!

Ok, so you're going to hate my comment. You can delete it if you like, I won't feel bad. I got a really nice burpcloth like this with Ella... and have never used it! Yikes. It was just way too nice. Other people do though so I'm sure I'm in the minority.

Also, I'm a poor law student so I'm not the right person to ask. :)

So, why would I delete your comment? I need feedback, so this is good, even if you didn't use it.

Love these!! they are so cute. Okay, so here's my two-cents. Hope it helps. Pay pal charges .30 + 3%, etsy charges .20 + 3%. So take your cost + the etsy/paypal fees + whatever you would like to make hourly. I stick to at least minimum wage. At LEAST. Because your time is worth something. There are a million other things you could be doing but you are taking time to make something handmade.
I would pay around...mmm.. maybe $15 for a set of 3?? I don't know. I'm horrible at this because I usually just make things myself!! Good luck, I really think they would do great! I'm excited to see your shop!

I think you would be amazed at what people would pay to have cute things for there babies! I can sell one bow that only costs me about $2.50 to make for $8.00 here in Utah. (people are CrAzY!!) I would go look on Etsy and just try and keep you prices in line with what the average is.
